Challenges in app testing for Yello
At the start of the project, our partner Yello was developing a new version of the Yello app. The aim was to create an individual user experience that would enable customers to visualize their personal electricity consumption clearly and concisely. In order to effectively picture different customer groups, the requirements had to be defined in detail. A key challenge was to maintain the high quality standard during app development so that users perceive the app as high-quality and user-friendly. The focus was on stability and user-friendliness in order to ensure an optimal customer experience.

Quality assurance for a high-performance app
As part of the project, we were able to support the Yello team with targeted quality assurance measures. Our services included the following measures:
Familiarization with Powercloud platform: Intensive familiarization with the Powercloud platform was crucial in order to understand and implement all specific project requirements.
Test case creation to cover individual requirements: We created new test cases to take special requirements for the app fully into account.
Optimization of existing test cases: By adapting and optimizing existing test cases, we improved quality assurance and test efficiency.
Daily sprint tests as part of the Daily Service: Within the sprints, we carried out daily tests to identify and rectify potential errors at an early stage.
Manual device tests after sprint completion: After each sprint, manual device tests were carried out on various devices to ensure functionality and user-friendliness.Appmatics helped us to optimize our testing processes. By taking over various testing activities, our product teams were relieved and the entire development process was accelerated.”
